Academic Program

Our five-week academic session is designed to assist and enrich students with daily monitoring of academic performance and  provide individual attention and a supportive faculty. Our class sizes are small (an average teacher to student ratio is 1 to 10) in order to provide each student with a personalized arena in which to explore his or her potential. Students encounter energetic and experienced teachers who are sensitive to their personal academic needs.

 

Afternoon activities, special events, and weekend excursions allow each student the opportunity to take a break from scholastic responsibilities and experience lasting friendships. Students attending the academic session share a common desire to spend five-weeks improving their study skills, strengthening their educational backgrounds, and having fun.

For the young man or woman who is eager to learn, to prepare for college, or to improve in a particular subject, The Academy by the Sea is the perfect summer experience. The Academy offers a variety of subjects from which students pick four classes that will comprise their summer schedules.
