ABOUT THE ACADEMY BY THE SEA / CAMP PACIFIC
Nowadays, young men and woman can choose to spend their summer months in a variety of ways. The Academy by the Sea/ Camp Pacific is dedicated to helping youth grow and prosper through an assortment of productive summer camps and an exceptional summer academic program. Our philosophy is two-fold. We want students and campers to enjoy and take pride in learning new skills but equally important; to learn to live cooperatively, exercise tolerance and build friendships with people from all over our country, as well as other countries. Our experienced and dedicated staff aim for our students and campers to learn while having fun, all in a beautiful seaside facility, which houses our campus.
TEACHER/PARENT CONTACT
Before the start of the season, we will mail you a list of important contact phone numbers to refer to in the event that you have an inquiry during the summer. Progress reports from each teacher are mailed home at the end of the second and fifth weeks. Parent/teacher conferences are scheduled for the third Saturday in the session. Typically, this is also a big visitation day for our parents. We mail letters during the session describing the day in more detail and how to register for the parent / teacher conferences

Q. What expenses do your rates include?
A. Our rates include room and board, meals, linens, weekend excursions, (classes for academic session) and athletic and social activities. Additional costs include an incidental account for our academic and recreational sessions. The surf camp does not require an incidental account. Click here for more details about the incidental account. Additional fees may include optional airport transportation, optional ESL classes for Camp Pacific, in-between session fees, and temporary medical insurance for international students and campers.
